Meet at Zona Colona; plan to leave at 9am. Bring lunch, water, snacks, etc. May include side trip up Yankee Boy Basin.
Friday – obtain campsite along Slate River NW of Crested Butte off 734 Road. There are RV sites on BLM land near Oh-Be-Joyful (first come) and dispersed tent camping farther upstream on Forest Service land. Saturday – meet at CO 135 & 738 Road by 9:00 AM. Drive Pearl Pass to Ashcroft. Air up and drive to Aspen, then Carbondale, then CO 133 to Marble for dinner at the Slow Groovin’ BBQ. At moonrise, drive over Scofield Pass to 519 Road over Paradise Divide back to campsite via 734 Road. Sunday – sleep in, then do optional activities before return to Montrose.

Leave Downtown City Market at 8:30 am. Drive to Gunnison, turn north, turn onto Ohio Pass Road onto Kebler Pass Road to Crested Butte. Then to Mt. Crested Butte & around the Gothic – Slate River Road back to town. Then back to Gunnison & home.
Could be a long day. Full tank of gas, lunch, snacks, water. Also First Aid Kit, Tow Strap & Fire Extinguisher which we do not expect to need.

Meet at Delta City Market at 9am; plan to leave at 9:15am. Will run Kebler Pass first and then Ohio Pass ending in Gunnison in time for an early group dinner (or late lunch) at one of the Gunnison restaurants. Trails are easy and there will be stops for history of the area and photos. Bring full gas tank, water and snacks.
Meet at the Ouray Visitors Center in time to leave by 8:30am. Bring full gas tank, lunch, water, snacks. Will run Old Lime Creek Road first. The rest of the route is yet to be determined as there are numerous options. Depending on options, it could be a long day.
Meet at Zona Colona at 8am. There will be a stop in Ridgway to pick up other members and to Norwood to check on road conditions. After that we will explore the roads in the Lone Cone area near Norwood. Bring full gas tank, water, lunch and snacks.
Meet at Delta City Market at 9am. Bring lunch, water, snacks and a full gas tank. We will explore some of the roads on the Grand Mesa, including the Leon Lake area.
This will be a clean up run on one of our adopted trails. Come prepared to pick up any trash we see; also we may need to trim a little brush so, if you have any, please bring hand trimmers. Meet at Downtown City Market at 9am with gas, lunch and water.
Steve R has some new and some replacement signs to put up along this trail. If you are available to help, please meet him at Zona Colona at 9am. Bring gas, lunch, water and any hand tools you may wish.
Steve and Linea W. will take the group over to Bull Canyon in the Paradox Valley. Please meet at Zona Colona at 8am with gas, lunch and water. A previous email has been sent reviewing the history of the area.
